An Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) is a direct dry-cooling system where the steam is condensed inside air-cooled finned tubes. Air-cooled condensers match with a variety of air-cooled condenserless chillers to provide customized packages that cover a wide range of cooling requirements. Some ACC’s have a direct dry cooling option which condenses turbine exhaust steam inside finned tubes, which are externally cooled by ambient air instead of sea or river water, as in once-through water-cooled plants.
